Keep Troup Beautiful Awards

2006 Award of Excellence Winners

Keep Troup Beautiful’s special guest speaker Mr. Joe Dunlop, the program coordinator with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs’ Office of Environmental Management, spoke Tuesday morning during the LaGrange/Troup County Chamber of Commerce Early Bird Breakfast. Mr. Dunlop reminded business owners that it pays to recycle. Companies are paying to landfill valuable resources such as corrugated cardboard, office paper and aluminum. Instead companies can collect and sell these recycled goods to regional recyclers.
